Cancer Assistance Plan
The "Cancer Assistance Plan" provides a lump-sum payment upon diagnosis of a cancer providing immediate cash relief.
Cancer is defined as a malignant tumour characterized by the uncontrolled growth and spread of malignant cells with invasion and destruction of normal tissue. This diagnosis must be supported by histological evidence of malignancy and confirmed by an oncologist or pathologist.
Who is eligible?
Any one between the age of 16-64, who has an existing life policy from Algico
How can I pay my premiums?
Premiums can be paid annually, semi annually and monthly, over the counter or through salary deduction.
What will happen if I cannot pay my premiums?
There is a grace period of 30 days after which, the policy will lapse for non-payment of premium.
How would my loved ones benefit?
Lump sum benefits paid directly to you, or to your named beneficiary.
